The Language Lab of SWFL is owned by an ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) with additional training in structured literacy intervention. This combination of clinical and educational experience provides a unique perspective on the relationship between speech, language, literacy, and academic learning

Speech-Language Therapy
Preschool & School-Aged
Supporting children in developing the speech and language skills they need to communicate with confidence and participate more fully at home, at school, and in their communities.
Academic Intervention
Supporting students who need, individualized intervention to strengthen the skills that impact classroom learning. We offer a homeschool support option that brings together language, literacy, and academic instruction.
Literacy Intervention
Providing explicit, systematic, structured literacy instruction to help children develop strong foundations for reading and writing. We offer subject specific language-based learning intervention.
Speech, language, reading, writing, and academic success are deeply connected. A child who struggles to understand language may also struggle to understand what they read. A child with difficulty organizing language may have trouble expressing what they know in writing. And a child who has difficulty processing sounds may find learning to read especially challenging.
At The Language Lab of SWFL, we bring these connections together. Our services are designed for children who need support not only with communication, but with the foundational language and literacy skills that impact how they learn.
